Check Out Your Website’s Browser Compatibility

By Michelle Waters | March 21, 2008

If you designed your own website, do website design for a living, or just want to check up on your designer, there is an awesome tool to help you do it.

Simply enter your website address, select which browsers you want to see your site in (or use the defaults) and click submit.

Usually within about 30 minutes, you’ll have a list of screenshots that you can hover your mouse over to enlarge, or click for more details about what browser and system generated the screenshot.

This is awesome, because you can use it to ensure that all your customers who are using Firefox, Safari, Opera or BonEcho (Have you even heard of that?!) can you use your website.

Just think, your website might look awesome in Internet Explorer 7.0 — but if it’s not standards complaint, people in Firefox or Opera might see a jumbled mess. And guess what? They’re going to leave your site.
